Groote Eylandt Lodge, Alyangula

I had an unexpected surprise during my stay at the lodge. The location is stunning, with modern rooms overlooking the sea, providing great views and a relaxing atmosphere. However, the service during breakfast was lacking, with limited options and inadequate replenishment. The bar area also felt uninviting. Overall, it’s a nice place for a business stay or a family getaway, but improvements are needed in dining.

I had a wonderful experience at Groote Eylandt Lodge, thanks to the stunning sea views and beautiful sunsets from my room. The lodge has fantastic facilities and offers unique cultural tours, but there were some service shortcomings, particularly with the dining options and issues in the room that need addressing. Overall, this place is a gem for those looking to relax and appreciate nature's beauty, although the dining could use improvement.

I had an amazing time at the lodge! The food was excellent, especially with the unique experience of having the fish we caught prepared for us by the chef each night. The location is absolutely breathtaking for fishing, but I did notice some areas in the resort needed a bit of attention, particularly in the rooms. Overall, I would definitely return for the fishing and views, but hopefully, the resort will improve in maintenance and dining options.

I had a fantastic stay at the Lodge on Groote Eylandt! The manager, Girhan, made everything feel effortless with his caring and professional service. The food was amazing and the views were breathtaking, especially during sunset. I would have loved the rooms to be a little more modern, but they were spacious and comfortable. Overall, I can't wait to return for another visit!
